Dear residents,
Your rubbish is collected from your bin cupboards every morning, except Sunday. Please ensure the following:

All your rubbish is in proper tied plastic or paper bags.

Ensure that your bag is not overfilled and likely to split. Do not put any sharp objects in plastic bags.

All cardboard must be broken down, flattened and put in a separate open bag with handles. Please do not dump empty unflattened cartons in the bin area.

All paper, newspapers and magazines must be in an open bag with handles.

Glass bottles and jars must be washed, with lids removed, and put in a separate open bag.

Ensure that broken glass is well wrapped so that it doesn’t cause injury.

Please do not leave any perishable rubbish in your cupboard for more than 12 hours.

Please do not put recyclable items such as electrical items, furniture, wood, building waste in the bins.

Rubbish must not be left on the carpet on the landing even if it is in a bag.

If your lower bin cupboard is locked, you must be responsible for the disposal of your own rubbish.
- Do not put nappies or human/animal waste in the bags to be collected - you MUST take this out to bins yourself.
Please note any rubbish that is not placed in proper bags WILL NOT BE COLLECTED.
