The annual visit to ring the Peregrine chicks was on 22rd May. Here is some information on the 4 peregrine chicks:

Female
Weight: 850g
Chick 2
Left leg: Green 68
Female
Weight: 855g
Chick 3
Left leg: Green 69
Male
Weight: 600g
Chick 4
Left leg: Green 70
Male
Weight: 535g
Thus, 2 of each sex, as last year. The two females are large chicks & weighed more than last year’s females which were 750 & 770g at about the same age. All 4 chicks were healthy. Their wing & tail feathers which are several centimetres long will grow rapidly from now.
