Dear fellow residents,
We hope you're well and remain so during this next lockdown period. What follows is a gentle reminder of Covid-19 routines.
In order to maintain the lowest potential risks to residents and staff and ensure the best bio-security possible, please observe the following best practices that seem to have worked well so far. Any other suggestions are always welcome.
- Passenger lifts to be used by one person at a time unless persons share a flat.
- Please wear a face mask as you move around the building.
- Please encourage social distancing in the foyer, bin area and along corridors.
- Please use the hand sanitiser provided at the reception before using the lifts.
- Please make minimal contact possible with door handles and lift buttons. Some residents may wish to use gloves.
- If you fall ill please advise the Caretaker so that neighbours and/or helpers may be contacted and assistance offered.
- Please assist neighbours, particularly the vulnerable, those with underlying medical conditions and self-isolators with telephone contact, food shopping and collection of medicines.
- We have an established routine for cleaning commonly touched surfaces: keyboards, work surfaces and public areas. All touch surfaces in communal areas are regularly disinfected.
- Our caretaker will continue to advise contractors and delivery personnel when entering the building of our current safeguarding steps. Our contractors are familiar with and action RAMS (risk assessments and method statements). We will be carrying out carefully controlled and emergency maintenance work only.
- Please place all your rubbish AND recycling in strong plastic bags and make sure they are properly tied.
We will continually review and update our plans.
Thank you for your consideration and support during these difficult times.
